Our Core Services

The government marketplace poses unique opportunities but also challenges that can overwhelm or even ruin a company that does not have the maturity or resources to meet them.  Our government procurement specialists offer services to help your business grow.

Brand Positioning

Our government procurement specialists can help you determine if your company is ready for government opportunities and how to best position yourself to succeed.

At the SE PA PTACs, experienced and knowledgeable government marketing specialists provide free and confidential consulting for all phases of the government procurement and contracting process.

Govt. Database Registration

Our government procurement specialists can help make sure you are registered with the government databases which are necessary for you to participate in the government marketplace.

During our consultations, we will help you determine which certifications, if any, you should apply for so you can maximize your opportunities.

Marketing Strategy

Businesses of all sizes can get assistance to develop a government marketing strategy for selling to federal, state and local governments or prime government contractors.

Once you’re ready to start looking for contracts, our consultants can create a BidMatch profile for you. Get opportunities sent straight to your email and start bidding!

Proposal Development

Our government procurement specialists can help you navigate even the most difficult solicitation package, including securing necessary specifications and drawings and determining pricing.

Workshops & Training

Training and one-on-one consulting is provided for businesses wanting to explore the government market for possible contracting opportunities or for sub-contracting opportunities with government prime contractors.

Resources & Networking Opportunities

Information resources help business clients stay abreast of the ever changing government and prime contractor procurement process. Regular “matchmaking” events provide critical opportunities to connect with prime contractors and other businesses.

Services We Do Not Provide

Our federal guidance does not allow for PTACs to provide the following services. Visit your local Small Business Development Center (SDBC) or SCORE chapter for the following assistance:

including but not limited HR, hiring, retention, Six Sigma, and health care advice.

Financial Assessments

including access to loans and finding grants.

Startup Assistance

Employee Development Training

including vocational type training, basic writing skills, and program management.

We Also Cannot

Act as a client’s representative or directly advise in filing protests or claims. PTAC counselors are “advisors” and cannot act on behalf of clients.
