Beware of Fee-Based Services
BE AWARE: You DO NOT have to pay to get government contracting assistance, register in databases, etc. Fee-based services charge to do the same things you can do for free or with the help of your PTAC. Use these services at your own discretion.

The requirements and guidances for CMMC are always changing and it can be difficult to keep up, but staying up to date with this information is imperative if you want to compete for high-level contracts with DoD. The CMMC Accreditation Body has all the information you need, including the sources you can work with to get CMMC ready. You can get live updates about CMMC from the Acquisition and Sustainment in the Office of the Under the Secretary of Defense.
Updating your dSBS Profile
>> Click on the “UPDATE ENTITY” button below the “Registrations Details for Complete Record” box
>> On the following screen, you will be provided with a drop-down box that asks “What would you like to update?”
>> Select “Points of Contact (POC) ONLY” from the list of options
>> Unless changes need to be made on this page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “SAVE AND CONTINUE” button
>> Scroll down to the bottom of the next page (the SAM submit page) where you will find the SBA.gov “Register or Update SBA Profile” hot-link box at the bottom center of the screen. The DSBS edit page will open and you can now update your DSBS capabilities narrative, keywords, special qualifications, and references (as needed)
